Your day at NTT DATA

The primary responsibility of the Senior Associate Resource Scheduler is to assist with the efficient allocation and management of the human resources required to deliver IT services to clients. They are responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of IT services, client expectations and projects that impact one or more departments, systems/workflows with some complexity, or multiple projects simultaneously with some risk or complexity.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery teams by ensuring that there are adequate and competent human resources available to deliver on all clients’ expectations and contracts

  • Identify and assign resources to multiple projects using internal and external resources

  • Contribute to achieving utilization team targets by assisting with the maintenance of resource schedules

  • Help with ensuring demand fulfilment and efficiency gains through effective interaction with internal stakeholders

  • Help with the management of resourcing conflicts and escalations in accordance with project and business priorities

  • Maintain utilization, and realization information, ensuring accuracy and timeous communication to the relevant project for consideration in project plans

  • Work closely with project teams to resolve resource-related issues that may impact SLAs

  • Coordinate with client teams to align resource allocation with their needs and expectations

  • Good understanding of service level agreements and project management principles and methodologies

  • Proficiency in resource management software and project management tools

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Relevant qualification or certification or equivalent related work experience

  • Relevant certifications

Required Experience:

  • Moderate level of demonstrated resource scheduling and/or project management experience gained within a technology services environment is preferable

  • Moderate level of demonstrated experience gained within a related business practice

  • Moderate level of demonstrated experience engaging with stakeholders
