Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is embedded within the industry, where you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Accurately maintain customer credit records
• Perform account reconciliation tasks
• Handle accounts payable (AP) duties
• Conduct check runs for vendor payments
• Code invoices accurately for financial recording
• Engage in data entry tasks to keep records up-to-date
• Process invoices for payments
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Operate QuickBooks software for financial management
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
• Manage sales tax calculations and payments
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) duties
• Perform 3-way matching to verify invoices
• Process and manage purchase orders. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven experience in conducting Check Runs
• Ability to efficiently code invoices
• Expertise in Data Entry related to financial tasks
• Experience in Invoice Processing, including management and organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data management
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience in calculating and filing Monthly Sales Tax
• Understanding of Sales Tax procedures and regulations
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a bonus
• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching in invoice processing
• Ability to manage and track Purchase Orders effectively
