Entergy IT Communications and Organizational Change Management Analyst in Jackson, Mississippi

This position may be filled in The Woodlands TX, New Orleans LA, Jackson MS, or Little Rock AR. Other locations within Entergy’s service territory may be considered. Relocation and sponsorship is not provided.
Job Summary
Assists in the development, management and execution of Information Technology project change management initiatives and stakeholder communications, in addition to overall IT communications and special change management projects. This role will actively support IT projects with a focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, organizational structure and job roles. Accountable for the planning and management oversight of all change management activities within the context of a system deployment or IT transformation project, including internal communications, training plans, leadership alignment, and more.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Work closely with the Information Technology executive team, leaders, and employees across functional groups to strategize, plan and implement high-quality, high-impact communications that advance the organization's mission and goals.
Perform change management for IT capital projects, which includes driving stakeholder engagement through leadership alignment, voice of the customer, cultural alignment and behavioral changes, developing and executing detailed, strategic and tactical plans for change management to ensure speed of adoption, utilization and proficiency to achieve desired outcomes.
Execute change management activities such as needs analysis, key messaging, stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, learning/training planning, organizational readiness assessments, resistance management, communications plan and OCM risk mitigation.
Create communication deliverables in support of change effort, which could include SharePoint information hubs, infographics, videos, Viva Engage posts, PowerPoint presentations, leader emails, etc.
Provide clear, timely and accurate status reports to Project Managers and stakeholders as necessary.
Assess success of the IT changes using key performance indicators such as adoption of new technology or change, survey results, email engagement, resource and video views, SharePoint site page views, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business, or related work experience, OR in lieu of degree, minimum eight years of relevant professional experience
Minimum experience needed:
Analyst I: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Analyst II: 2+ years of relevant experience
Analyst III: 4+ years of relevant experience
Analyst Sr: 6+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience consulting with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables and presenting results/recommendations
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed:
Strong communication skills, including verbal and written skills.
Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
Basic understanding of organizational change management principles, methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large-scale organizational change efforts is a plus.
Basic graphic design knowledge a plus.
Project management skills, including ability to develop and execute project plans for change initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and manage resistance to change.
Questioning attitude: Ability to understand IT systems and change impact to people in the organization.
Any licenses or certifications needed:
- PROSCI or other change management certification is a plus
