Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer. Duties:Participate in the rapid development of software frameworks and applications into product as an individual or as part of a global team. Write and review design specifications for new product features. Design, implement, review, test and verify Ultrasound medical applications. Participate in reviews of requirement specifications to ensure feasibility. Conduct and participate in peer reviews to ensure product quality. Regularly update management on progress and delays encountered during development. 10% International/ Domestic travel. Hybrid work permitted. Must report to the Company's office in Issaquah, WA 2 days/wk. Qualifications: : The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following: software development; experience with application programming; XML/JSON DICOM, .NET, WCF, C# and C++; knowledge and experience with Object Oriented design and development; experience with Agile software lifecycles and sound software engineering practices; and extensive experience in medical device development in the areas of medical image processing and rendering.
