The Opportunity
Our Diagnostics business currently has an opportunity for an Scientist for our Irving, TX location. The primary function of this position is to support Abbott products by monitoring field data to proactively identify opportunities for significant operational; process; or product improvements.
What You’ll Work On
Perform regular data pulls to monitor product performance and market trends.
Analyze data to identify key insights and patterns.
Develop and maintain visualizations to effectively communicate data findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.
Continuously improve data collection and visualization processes.
Independently provide technical support of Third Party Manufacturer (TPM) including managing change control, technical oversight and project support.
Recommends options for other experiments. Providing insights on techniques and procedures and solicits feedback from more advanced team members.
Works on problems of moderate and diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Proposes potential solutions to problems.
Possible CFT member providing input to project planning and execution. May plan and work on projects of smaller complexity under limited supervision.
Sharing Knowledge - Presents technical information to internal and external groups.
Strategic and Results Orientation - Demonstrates fiscal responsibility through actionable recommendations and accomplishments.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Engineering degree and 2 years of related work experience.
Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL, R, and PowerBI
Computer science data analytic experience or certification

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
