Bilingual Medical Assistant – Front Office (English/Spanish, Oncology & Colon/Rectal Patients)

About the Role

As a Bilingual Medical Assistant in the front office, you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for oncology and colon/rectal patients, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments, checking in and out, and verifying insurance information.

  • Communicate effectively with patients in English and Spanish, ensuring understanding, comfort, and sensitivity to their unique medical needs.

  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Coordinate with the back-office team and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

  • Experience in medical office administration or equivalent (preferred).

  • Knowledge or experience in working with oncology and/or colon/rectal patients, or a willingness to learn and adapt to their specialized needs.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in front-office operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support to patients undergoing cancer and colon/rectal care.

  • Exceptional ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A collaborative mindset to work closely with the entire healthcare team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
