Aerotek Machine Operator in Irvine, California

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join a leading company specializing in safety cutting solutions, offering a wide range of industrial and consumer brands. Enhance workplace safety and productivity by reducing cutting injuries and minimizing product damage as a Machine Operator.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery for daily operations.

  • Conduct safety inspections on machinery.

  • Monitor equipment during operation.

  • Perform adjustments and repairs as needed.

  • Cross-train in all tasks within the Blades Department.

  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

  • Stage and pick materials both physically and electronically using a barcode scanner.

  • Manage reporting paperwork and data entry tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of machine operating experience.

  • Solid experience in managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.

  • Full understanding of material storage procedures and practices.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.

  • Good math skills (unit of measure conversions).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in machine operation, packaging, and general production.

  • Proficiency with tape measures and production processes.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with a shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. Use of barcode scanners and other modern equipment is required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $42000.00/yr.
