Insight Global Director of Inside Sales in Irvine, California

Job Description

A large Software company is looking for a Sales Director for their ISR team to join their team. We're looking for problem solvers, innovators, and dreamers who are searching for anything but business as usual. As the Director of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for managing a team of office based Inside Sales Managers and Reps. The role of this group is to help drive new customer acquisition and corporate growth by qualifying inbound leads and engaging in proactive and targeted outbound prospecting. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of business development, performance management and team leadership experience, and have a proven track record of over-achieving both personal and team-based targets to make a real difference. This position is offering a 50/50 split for base + commission with a OTE potential of 270,000-310,000.

Responsibilities:

· Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the Inside Sales Development team

· Develop sales plans and overall strategies to impact topline revenue

· Coach a team of 3-4 sales managers and their teams on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and achieve quarterly targets

· Hire new managers and Inside Sales Reps and provide both onboarding and ongoing coaching to ensure their growth and success

· Work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage

· Create content for ongoing training and development

· Support managers and ISRs through professional development plans and provide clear and tactical feedback

· Champion, role model, and embed company cultural values (Customer First, Accountability, Integrity, Equality and Empowerment) as we scale globally and across new offices

Skills and Requirements

· 10+ years of software sales experience, with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close

· 6+ years of business-to-business lead generation and team management experience, with a focus on enterprise sales in a land and expand sales model (SaaS)

· Track record of successfully achieving sales targets in a high-growth environment and exceeding personal and team-based quotas and goals.

· Building this team from the ground up, growing and developing Sales Exec

· Managing pipeline, creating capture strategy, and experience with necessary prospecting tools

· Management of a large revenue generating sales team Familiarity with Data Analytics, AI and Machine Learning (a plus) null
