Robert Half Procurement Specialist in Indiantown, Florida
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Indiantown, Florida for a Procurement Specialist within the telecom industry. This role involves advising on purchasing needs, conducting cost analyses, preparing quotes and bid proposals, establishing vendor relationships, and resolving discrepancies with vendor invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Advise on determining purchasing needs, selection criteria, and requirements
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with policies
• Conduct analyses on cost comparisons of specified commodities
• Prepare quotes, bid proposals, and requests for quotations in collaboration with department staff and vendors
• Analyze and document solicitation responses throughout the procurement process
• Establish and monitor vendor relationships, making recommendations or changes in procurement sourcing based on performance delivery, cost, and overall results
• Conduct research and resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices, payment vouchers, and revenue voucher receipts
• Leverage technology to maximize the efficiency of procurement processes
• Utilize skills in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Management System, Microsoft Excel, About Time, Compliance, Customer Service, and Documentation
• Handle invoice-related tasks effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Familiarity with Management System operations
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with the 'About Time' software
• Understanding of Compliance procedures and regulations
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Experience in Documentation management
• Ability to handle Invoice processing and management
• Procurement Specialist or similar role experience is preferred.
