Insight Global Principal Electrical Design Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join one of our large customers in Indiana. The Principal Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of rugged military electrical systems for ground, shipboard, and/or airborne applications. These systems include the specification and selection of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) modules, design and development of custom circuit card assemblies (CCA), integration of existing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and development of system architecture for Department of Defense (DOD) applications. The candidate is expected to perform lead contributions of the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration, and fielding of digital electronic modules, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and/or CCAs for a variety of DOD applications.
The immediate program this candidate will be supporting will be working heavily with production failures and root cause/corrective action related to aerospace designs.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors Degree in EE or related field
10+ years of experience in Analog Electrical Engineering
Power Supply Design experience
Experience with atleast one of the following tools:
o Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition
o Altium
o Cadence
Experience with LTSpice, Pspice or similar simulation tool DOD or Aerospace experience
Active Security Clearance null
