About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler and Delivery Driver to join our team in the Wholesale Electrical Distribution industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers, while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, ensuring that all products are properly stored and organized utilizing our handheld barcode scanners.
This role requires a proactive problem solver who can effectively communicate with team members and customers to ensure we provide superior customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role
Experience using handheld barcode scanners
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment
Responsibilities:
Operate, load, and unload materials from (insert type of vehicle) delivery trucks
Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse and at customer sites
Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored
Monitor and scan material at customer site to create new order for next delivery day
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process
