Maintenance Technician

$30 - $36 | Indianapolis, IN

Job Description

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery.

  • Responsibilities include analyzing and maintaining systems and equipment, performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure continuous operation of equipment such as motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.

  • Technicians will also be required to reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specs, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions to effectively troubleshoot and fix issues.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment

  • Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives and motors

  • Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement

  • PLC diagnostics and experience preferred

  • Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations

  • Field service knowledge (photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, reed sensors, etc.)

  • Electromechanical troubleshooting (controls, components, control wiring diagnosis, etc.)

Work Environment / Shifts

  • 3rd Shift

  • 5:00 pm - 5:00 am

  • 2-2-3 schedule
