Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role provides a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be part of a team responsible for managing accounts payable tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Enter vendor invoices on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain additional information as needed.
• Match invoices to supporting documentation to ensure consistency.
• Create batch payments via check and ACH, ensuring timely payment.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments.
• Work in a socially distanced office environment with flexibility in work hours.
• Utilize MS Dynamics and Excel, including using lookups and creating pivot tables, to maintain and analyze financial data.
• Use Concur software for expense management and reporting.
Requirements
• Prior experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
• Experience in maintaining and updating the General Ledger in accordance with financial regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
• Excellent numerical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
