The Digital Designer is a technical resource responsible for creating event websites and mobile apps. This individual will be leading strategic conversations with clients, vetting requirements, and translating their needs into successful events. The ideal candidate should be very motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fun work environment. We’re looking for someone who gets excited about working with multiple technologies, proposes new and creative ideas, and learning new things.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate detailed product knowledge when assisting clients via phone and email

  • Lead all aspects of event website creation and maintenance:

  • Create online attendee registration website in line with client branding

  • Consult with clients on the design and overall functionality available to ensure client goals and objectives are met

  • Create reports based on event requirements and makes them readily available to clients and internal teams

  • Thoroughly tests event website before sharing with clients and internal teams

  • Lead all aspects of mobile app creation and maintenance:

  • Creation and maintenance of mobile apps

  • Present solutions and offer best practices to help clients meet their goals and objectives

  • Oversee mobile application projects from kick-off to launch in Apple and Google Play stores

  • Create and maintain templates based on client requirements

  • Lead different projects with challenging deadlines and deliverables

  • Partner with operations and account management to support client’s long-term account goals

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience preferably in the meetings industry, software or other high-tech industry

  • Strong, confident, and outgoing telephone presence and solid customer presentation skills

  • Highly articulate, detail-oriented, yet able to simplify complex concepts into amateur’s terms for greater understanding

  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism even in demanding circumstances

  • Comfortable using general office software applications, sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like WebEx a plus

  • Experience using Cvent platform, Flex registration, new reports, and portals preferred; Splash, e-Touches, Crowd Compass and DoubleDutch a plus

  • Advanced expertise with HTML, CSS and other web development languages a plus.

  • Photo editing (i.e., Photoshop, etc.) is a plus

  • Outstanding communication skills, able to communicate at various levels of the organization and tailor written and verbal messages to fit particular audiences in English, with focus on client-facing experience

  • Excellent collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work in a global, geographically dispersed environment
