Victory Solutions Director of Contracts in Huntsville, Alabama

We are looking for a Contracts Director and member of our Leadership team in Huntsville, AL.

General Summary:Victory Solutions is seeking an experienced Director of Contracts to begin work immediately.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead Contracts SME and advisor to the Leadership team for all contractual matters.
  • Manage and lead all aspects of contract and subcontract administration life cycle including contract negotiation/formation, post-award administration and deliverables, and contract closeout.
  • Leads and supervises a team of contract, sub-contract/purchasing and program control professionals. Oversee departmental policy, procedures and workflow.
  • Oversees, reviews and negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements and other third party agreements and OCI Mitigation plans.
  • Develops strong and effective internal and external customer relationships.
  • Supports pricing/cost for proposal development, through submission and contract negotiations.
  • Evaluates and reviews solicitations and contract terms and conditions to include the identification and mitigation of contract risks.
  • Reviews contractual documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements i.e., TandCs, FAR, DFAR and agency supplements and company policy.
  • Monitors contract performance to mitigate cost and schedule risks.
  • Performs the necessary transmission and monitoring of correspondence relating to contractual obligations.
  • Ensures completion and maintenance of contract and subcontract files and responds timely to all contractual reporting requirements for Victory Solutions.
  • Provides solutions to problems involving moderate to difficult complexity.
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination across organizational lines.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university in a business-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 20 yrs previous experience in contract administration desired, at least 15 yrs required.
  • Cradle to Grave Federal Government Contracting experience as a Prime Contractor and Subcontractor.
  • Prior Experience with Deltek Costpoint for reporting, cost tracking and project setup.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, TEAMS.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines and set priorities.
  • Ability to research applicable laws, policy and regulations and make recommendations to Leadership team.
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with multiple contract types and their terms and conditions: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (TandM), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts.
  • Advanced knowledge of the FAR/DFAR and Agency Supplements.
  • Experience or familiarity with ITAR and export licensing law and regulations.
  • Experience with GWACs and governmentwide acquisition vehicles such as GSA BPA's, OASIS+, etc.
  • US Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Desired:

  • Master's degree.
  • NCMA Certification, CFCM or CPCM highly desired.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a contracts team.
  • Previous exper ence with NASA and DoD contracts and subcontracts.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of SDVOSB and/or WOSB certifications.
