Vontier Sr. Director, Product Manager, Point of Sale in Houston, Texas
The Sr. Director, Point of Sale (POS) is a global position encompassing Invency by GVR POS product portfolio. Leading a global team, you will be responsible for the overall product portfolio for our POS products which will involve working as part of a global product leadership team, product planning and execution, and assessing global customer needs to prioritize our strategy and product development. Working in close alignment with our global engineering team, this position will ensure we are building optimum POS products to meet our customers' needs. The Sr. Director, Product Manager’s responsibilities include:
Act as a subject matter expert for all products defined in the POS portfolio
Be a key member of the Product leadership team
Define and continuously refine a roadmap tied to organizational strategy, including milestones and phases
Perform competitive analysis and market research to influence the strategy of your product(s)
Lead a team of senior product managers to ensure proper design, roadmap execution, user story creation, and refinement for execution and backlog priorities. Mentor and coach the product team, and support their career growth.
Work with sales and marketing to design go-to-market strategy and materials
Package and price products based on current customer data, previous sales data, market intelligence, and other data points
Work with marketing to provide sales enablement collateral and training
Gain VOC (internal and external) on the product(s) to ensure user adoption
Be a product evangelist for the vision of your product(s) both internally and externally
Create business cases for new products/features
The base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

Who You Are
Experience working in the Convenience Industry with Point of Sale and Payment solutions preferred
Held a senior role in the capacity of product management or engineering
Ideally 10+ years' experience as a product manager in a SaaS business
Knowledge of go-to-market strategy and execution within the retail solutions space
7+ years experience in creating a product strategy and road mapping
5+ years of experience in product packaging and pricing in SaaS business
Ability and desire to impact customers through innovation
Problem-solving skills with the ability to use both quantitative and qualitative data points
5+ years of experience leading a global team preferred
5+ years technical professional with agile product and development experience
