Emerson Senior Program Manager, Growth Markets in Houston, Texas

This role requires deep Industry knowledge, a strategic approach, and the ability to align marketing efforts with industry trends to drive growth and brand positioning within key sectors. This includes leading the development and execution of related campaigns, updates to the Industry Pages on Emerson.com, and other required assets. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Industry Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities within targeted industries.

  • Campaign Development: Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to industry-specific audiences, including content creation, digital marketing, events, and demand generation.

  • Content Creation: Build industry-specific marketing collateral such as case studies, white papers, blog posts, and presentations to position the company as a thought leader.

  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with sales teams to define One Emerson message, Value Improvement Practices/Value Enablers, and go-to-market strategy to support marketing and sales plans in a defined growth area/industry.

  • Performance Metrics: Monitor, track, and report on the efficiency of industry marketing initiatives using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.

  • Market Positioning: Define value propositions and messaging that address the outstanding challenges and opportunities of specific industries.

  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) including product managers, application experts, and world area solution experts to define solutions and opportunities tied to existing or new growth programs.

  • Foster collaborative, coordinated working relationships across key customers to jointly achieve business strategy and growth.

  • Partner with the sales team and broader marketing team, to lead in the development of impactful, global sales tools that aid in the sales process.

  • Direct resources in the creation of sales tools and other resources per the marketing strategy and sales plan

  • Drive awareness and develop alignments across other organizational priorities such as incorporating digital transformation, autonomous operations, and boundless automation into industry messages and deliverables.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Relevant years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with a focus on industry-specific or vertical marketing Commensurate with the level of the position.

  • Experience planning, driving, and assessing the performance of integrated marketing campaigns

  • Prior experience building relationships between sales, marketing, and communications teams.

  • Prior experience leading a project across business units globally

  • Willing to travel up to 25%

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • 8+ years of related experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with a focus on industry-specific or vertical marketing.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry processes, challenges, trends, and dynamics.

  • Experience in B2B marketing of a technical product portfolio

  • Experience with marketing automation software (preferably Eloqua)

  • Familiarity with publishing software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and understanding of web publishing (HTML) and Microsoft SharePoint

  • Shown success in building and demonstrating a brand or specific product category showing improvements or growth in market share, revenue, or profitability

  • Accomplishments in promotional programs and digital marketing strategies

  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights and evaluate business performance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
