Actalent Power Systems Engineer in Houston, Texas

Job Title: Power Systems EngineerJob Description

We are currently sourcing for a Power Systems Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Houston, Texas. Candidates should have a strong understanding of SEL, ABB, and R Taks power management systems. Qualified candidates should also have an understanding of writing structured text for power management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and power management solutions.

  • Work with SEL, ABB, and R Taks power management systems.

  • Write and maintain structured text for power management systems.

  • Travel up to 25% of the time to various project offices.

Essential Skills

  • 5-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and power systems.

  • 3+ years of experience working with SEL / R Taks equipment and power management systems.

  • 3+ years of experience writing structured text.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical design and engineering principles.

  • Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, MCC, motor control center, and switchgear.

  • Heavy industrial experience preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment, with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires occasional travel to other project offices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
