Are you looking to join a company that can provide great stability and a good work environment? We are currently looking for Inventory Control Specialys/Analyst to join a great team in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient management of our inventory and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained. This role requires an analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $23 - $23.01 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory accuracy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Directing cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory accuracy, inventory control, and related improvements. This may include the development of programs and audits.

  • Identify the root cause of inventory discrepancies. Create and implement corrective action plans that may include systems, people and/or processes.

  • Analyze inventory variance and exception reports to monitor inventory data and adherence to procedures, to ensure accuracy and the quality of inventory within the facility.

  • Maintain tags and labels on all inventory, and for all established storage locations.

  • Perform all required preparation in front of physical inventories, following up with various departments to confirm their responsibilities are complete.

  • Prepare inventory balance reports upon request.

  • Provide professional service to internal and external customers, coordinating with team members and other departments as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:
