Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to join our team of healthcare professionals at Houston Methodist Hospital. This position will be responsible for leading the clinical nutrition program at our hospital, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition, as well as experience managing a team of nutrition professionals.
$5000 Sign On Bonus
Key Responsibilties:
Establishes and maintains policies, standards and programs for the provision of optimal, cost-effective nutrition care to patients/residents. This includes coordinating and directing all clinical activities and determining and implementing appropriate staffing levels.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical nutrition department.
Develops goals and objectives for Clinical Nutrition to maintain high quality care.
Job Responsibilities
This role will be expected to manage and lead the following:
30+ Registered/Licensed Clinical Dietitians
15+ committees within clinical nutrition department
Managing Clinical Nutrition Dashboards & Data Analysis
Clinical Productivity & Data Analysis
Patient Experience Initiatives
System Clinical Nutrition leadership Initiatives
This role will be expected to lead and take initiative in leading the following projects & efforts:
Malnutrition Program and Reimbursement Initiatives
Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Initiatives
Volume Based Feeding Initiatives
International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiatives (IDDSI)
Attendance & Participation in FNCE (AND Annual Conference)
National Nutrition Month (NNM)
Nurse?s & Hospital Weeks
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian with active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics;
Texas Licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the state
Bachelor's degree at an accredited university, Master's degree preferred.
Requires at least 5 years of experience as a clinical dietitian
3 years of supervisory experience preferred
