We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst Intern to join the team with University of Texas at El Paso .
This is a temporary role not to exceed 14 weeks.
The Business Analyst Intern will:
The Science Integration team seeks a Business Analyst Intern to develop reporting and tracking tools for science management needs. The intern will work with a variety of aerospace STEM and business professionals, as well as other interns. This position is only offered in person and onsite in Houston, TX at NASA Johnson Space Center.
Responsibilities:
Develop or improve automated reporting and tracking reports utilizing Sharepoint Online
Develop new or make recommendations to existing reporting tools for science management and onsite exploration lab managers
Utilize Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Develop presentation templates
Other duties as assigned
Requisition Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at an accredited university.
Completed at least 45 credit hours.
Minimum of 2.8 GPA.
Requisition Preferences:
Bachelors or Masters student in business, computer science, or a closely related field
Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Power tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Programming skills

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
