Job Description
To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages/ or products purchased in The Virginia Wine Experience venue.
Responsibilities
Operate within ABC guidelines.
Familiarize yourself with daily happenings and inventory.
Work amoungst team and individually when neccessary.
Receives all checks from the guest and processes them to the proper payment method.
Fully perform open and closing duties.
Post all checks into the computer using the correct check number for reference as well as check control purposes.
Excute POS system.
Balance work with computer.
Assists in answering phones forThe Virginia Wine Experience as needed.
Serve wine and execute wine flights.
Provides amazing customer service from the moment the guest enters The Virgina Wine Expereince.
Educate customers and guests on Virginia wine and the history of the wine industry.
And any other reasonable duty assigned by management or supervisor
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age at the time of hire.
Must be able and willing to stand for 8-10 hours each shift.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Must have an outgoing and positive disposition.
Knowledge of appropriate verbiage for fine dining setting(preferred)
Previous customer service experince.
Weedend availability.
