You will be responsible for:

  • Act as liaison for proactive identification of learning demand needs, prioritization, and alignment with senior business leadership on Innovative Medicine Marketing capabilities including foundational and advanced marketing, Marketing Excellence (Mx), Market Access Excellence, and other enabling marketing capabilities (e.g., digital marketing, CIR).

  • Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with respective senior marketing business stakeholders

  • Act as a liaison between J&J Innovative Medicine L&D COE and senior marketing business stakeholders

  • Proactively consult and diagnose business needs / performance gaps to identify learning solution opportunities for Marketing capabilities

  • Lead effort to create a unified set of learning programs and learning portfolio for Marketing capability performance programs, in strategic alignment to the Innovative Medicine Marketing capability strategy

  • Provide subject matter expertise and review content / learning solutions as needed in coordination with L&D Experience & Enablement team to ensure business needs alignment and to drive desired outcomes

  • Apply the Marketing Excellence and Market Access Excellence Frameworks to facilitate the development of launch and commercialization strategies for new product and indication launches.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand needs facilitate workshops to apply the Mx and MAx frameworks resulting in aligned, strategy development leveraging the expertise of the J&J Innovative Medicine Integrated Commercial Team.

  • Apply the Launch Readiness process and dashboard to ensure alignment on key strategic decisions, timelines, and processes.

  • Understand marketing team needs and facilitate training and consulting workshops that will focus on the skills and competencies in Marketing Excellence and marketing capabilities.

  • Collaborate with marketing to embed Mx during business planning and ongoing business strategy development by facilitating customized Mx workshops.

  • Deliver workshops ensuring the application and embedding of Mx in ongoing business strategy development.

  • Align on and facilitate customized brand workshops in strategic choice deep-drive areas like Positioning, Value Proposition, Customers’ Desired Experience, Metrics and Execute to Win.

  • Promote best practice sharing within marketing and across campuses, sectors, and regions by using technology and annual Mx summits.

  • Monitor impact of learning solutions and discuss learning evaluation and measurement feedback with respective business stakeholders

  • Understand existing learning program offerings for Marketing, manage ongoing program needs, and suggest program improvements to address any strategic gaps or updates within the Marketing learning portfolio

  • Understand suite of Innovative Medicine L&D COE capabilities and remain current on Innovative Medicine L&D strategies, priorities, standards, and tools / tech, to inform business on optimal solution

  • Engage in demand/capacity planning with Strat Planning & Ops to inform annual demand plan /budget needs

  • Cross-collaborate with Innovative Medicine L&D COE LBPs to share business priorities and best practices

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree;

Required:

  • 8+ years of marketing and/or strategy development experience in either consumer packaged goods, medical device or pharmaceutical industry is required.

  • Ability to create consultative business partnerships and to collaborate with business leaders to ensure superior business results is required.

  • Business experience and industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies on how best to develop talent required.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional work teams is required.

  • Excellent leadership, influence management, collaboration, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Preferred:

  • Learning & Development Experience preferred.

  • Experience with Omnichannel Marketing is preferred.

  • Experience with Marketing Excellence or other marketing frameworks, experiential and application-based learning and competency development is preferred.

  • Diversity in prior commercial roles preferred (sales, sales leadership, acct mgt, marketing, etc.)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
