Express Employment Professionals Lead Carpenter in Hoodsport, Washington
Express is looking for a Professional lead carpenter with 5+ yrs of carpentry experience in leadership role.
Must be well-rounded with solid finish skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent leadership skills.
-Designs, constructs, remodels, retrofits, paints, and repairs interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete or brick -Lead and motivate a team of highly-skilled carpenters and laborers -Design, build, install, and repair structural woodwork, flooring, ceilings and cabinetry -Operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools -Read and comprehend plans and blueprints -Recognize and select appropriate lumber types and grades o Make rough sketches -Estimate cost, time, and materials of carpentry projects -Perform heavy physical labor, train and direct the work of laborers -Follow and give oral and written instructions -Maintain cooperative working relationships -Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population -Work independently and unsupervised while adhering to established timelines
