altafiber Strategic Product Project Manager I in Honolulu, Hawaii
Job Purpose :
The Project Manager handles specific customer orders and projects for the assigned group(s), with overall responsibility for the planning, executing, and controlling of all phases of the project to meet the defined scope of work, timeline and budget.
Essential Functions :
Establish and drive project schedules and commitments
Manage assignments, schedules, and deliverables for project team members to meet the scope of work, timeline, and budgets
Lead project team meetings
Create and deliver project updates and reports to project team members, management, and clients
Process new system sale contract packages for voice & data product offerings
Provides coordination activities for network transport services to include DIA, EIPDS, RNS, PRI, DES, P2MP and SIP. Coordination activities include establishing interdepartmental collaboration for successful implementation of network services, after hour cutover support, tracking of CPE equipment, developing timelines for multisite phased implementations & order processing
Programs/builds the VOiP systems according to negotiated specification and customer application.
Collects and manages programming information, maintaining templates for distribution to field operations personnel for implementation; coordinates due dates, customer training activity & order processing.
Support install cutover activity in a coordinated effort with the customer and field technician and activates the services in the C20 switching equipment. Additionally, execute all moves, adds, and changes on Hawaiian Telcom's Business All in One, VoIP, and SIP system packages.
Interfaces with customers on-site, via phone & e-mail. Interprets customer applications and makes recommendations for potential communications solutions. Provides programming support for VOIP phone systems, auto-attendant, call center applications and various add-on services. May also provide Tier 2 support to the Call Center agents for escalated service issues.
Education :
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses :
Project Management certification preferred
Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred
Relevant Work Experience :
1 to 3 years in related field
1-2 years experience in Project Management
2 years of work experience in customer service, operations, sales, technology or provisioning
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Working knowledge of circuit provisioning and supporting workflows
Working knowledge of the FCC Tariffs Demonstrated work experience in a regulated environment
Experience working with Salesforce, CRM, Tibco, Kenan, AAIS DS & NB, Broadsoft.
Some experience of Enterprise Solutions Group & General Business Sales channels and product offerings
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position does not have employee direct reports but does serve as a "lead" role for others doing similar work
Salary Range: $70,000.00-$98,000.00
