Description
We are searching for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk in Honolulu, Hawaii, for a permanent position within the ocean freight industry. The role involves verifying and processing billing, managing small account collections, and carrying out other assigned duties. The workplace setting is in-person, on the island of Oahu. Responsibilities:
• Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and promptness
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate
• Handle small account collections and ensure timely recovery
• Verify and process billing documents in line with company standards
• Use software applications like Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for account reconciliation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Must be adept at Billing practices and procedures
• Proficiency in Cash Applications is required
• Experience in Cash Collections is a necessity
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections is expected
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Knowledge of Oracle software is a plus
• Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous
• Familiarity with SAP systems is desirable
