Summer Intern for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

We are currently looking for 3 months full-time Summer Intern from June to August that is designed to gain hands-on experience from AMEX Asia Card & Insurance Services. You will work closely with our team and collaboratively across markets/ departments to share insights and best practices. You will receive coaching and on-going feedback from your leader. This position will be based in Hong Kong office.

In this role, you will:

  • Work on and present financial analytical project(s) related to Credit Card

  • Involve in the month-end closing to support Asia Cluster monthly financial presentation

  • Liaise with various stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Acquisition and other functions across Asia markets

  • Assist with research and data analysis

  • Prepare meeting materials/presentation decks

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the team

  • Strong self-motivation and accountability

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good presentation skills and time management

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or related Business discipline, preferably Year 3 or Final year student

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization

  • Proficient in MS office tools, knowledge of any programming language would be advantage
