Pennsylvania State Job Bank Custodial Associate in Homestead, Pennsylvania
Custodial Associate
We are looking for an honest and dependable Custodial Associates for our Homestead location. Position is 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday with daylight hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keeps the building and property in clean and orderly condition.
- Cleans, sweeps, dusts, mops, washes, vacuums floors.
- Cleans restroom facilities and keeps restrooms supplied with paper towels, soap, and other items.
- Collects and disposes of trash from buildings and grounds.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains/pipes.
- Cleans windows, woodwork, furniture, as needed.
- Performs outside work such as cleaning walks, snow removal and salting.
- Occasionally moves furniture and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures.
Ability to perform physical labor including carrying, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, etc.
- Must have a valid PA Driver's License and pass background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
