Cisco is seeking a Remote/Hybrid Financial Analyst!
Work Location:
Remote (U.S.-based)
East Coast candidates strongly preferred
If local to RTP, NC – hybrid schedule of 1–2 days/week onsite expected
Estimated Duration: April 14, 2025--September 26, 2025
Pay Rate: $54.44 per hour (W2)
Team Overview:
Join a high-impact Finance team managing the Sales P&L for some of Cisco’s largest SaaS architectures . This role supports the Expense Management function, assisting with headcount tracking, opex forecasting, and budget alignment . You'll work closely with sales leadership to ensure compliance and enable informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in monthly opex forecasting and financial reviews
Track and manage headcount allocations and non-headcount expenses
Ensure adherence to purchase order processes and compliance protocols
Build, maintain, and present financial reports using Excel, Business Objects, and PowerPoint
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely expense forecasts
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
At least 5 years of relevant Finance experience
Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
Proficiency in:
Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
Essbase
Business Objects
PowerPoint (for professional financial storytelling)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:
P&L management
Operating expense tracking and forecasting
Budget planning and headcount tracking
Comfortable working with large datasets to identify trends and support decision-making
Previous Cisco experience or familiarity with Cisco’s financial systems and processes is a strong plus
