Summary:

This role is an integral member of the HR team responsible for talent acquisition strategy and recruitment of talented candidates. In this position, you will be responsible for organizational wide efforts to identify, attract, and hire top talent. You will lead a growing team of recruiters to provide the labor needs for our rapidly expanding organization. You will build a talent acquisition organization to ensure the candidate experience is best in class.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters

  • Recommend ways to improve LGESMI’s employment brand and talent acquisition strategy by working with HR Leader and other members of the leadership team

  • Forecast and plan future hiring needs by partnering with HR COE’s and department leaders

  • Evaluate, design, and implement a sourcing, screening, and hiring platform that is best in class

  • Review organizational and budgetary considerations with department leadership

  • Establish partnerships with career and college recruiters and with community organizations

  • Manage job posting and advertisement processes

  • Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of occupations and job positions

  • Meet with production part leaders to understand staffing needs and provide updates

  • Support and assist with candidate screening to select qualified candidates for the interviewing process

  • Onboard, train, and develop people on the team continuously

  • Develop and implement standard behavioral-based interview and screening questionnaires

  • Assist hiring managers on interviewing techniques

  • Collaborate with Compensation Team and hiring managers to determine compensation package

  • Benchmark positions against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position and prepares proposals for top management

  • Support compensation programs, including base pay and short-term incentives, to ensure alignment with company objectives for recruiting, retention and employee engagement

  • Create and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of talent acquisition strategic goals

  • Manage ADP’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Manage the recruiting and advertising budget

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies

  • Stay abreast of legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts

  • Review and manage documentation such as visa transfers and work authorization

  • Process invoices for third-party staffing firms and recruiters

  • Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas

  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience

  • CP or PHR certification preferred

  • Certified Compensation Professional preferred

Experience:

  • 7 to 10+ years of full cycle recruiting experience or equivalent years of experience

  • 3 to 6+ years of experience leading and managing multiple processes

  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, web-based sourcing tools, and HR databases

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

Skills:

  • Comfort around higher management

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make sound decisions

  • Planning skills and effective communication of priorities

  • Delegation and directing teams to meet goals

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support and work with HQ and global sites
