Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive assistant project manager to support our project management team in the successful execution of architectural metal wall panel projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction and design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. This individual will interact with the engineering, finance, manufacturing, fabricating, and estimation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets specific to architectural metal wall panel projects.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and status reports.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.

  • Track project progress, manage timelines, and prepare regular status updates for management and stakeholders.

  • Help identify project risks and issues, assisting in the development of proactive mitigation strategies.

  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

  • Manage project-related administrative tasks, such as procurement, invoicing, and resource allocation.

  • Assist in the evaluation of project performance, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • 1 - 2 years of project management or administrative support within the construction or architectural industry

  • Familiarity with project management software tools (Bluebeam, Smartsheet, ClickUp, Procore, etc.)

  • Understanding of commercial blueprints

Work Environment

Work in the office from Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Travel is not required on a consistent basis except for local site visits. A hybrid schedule offers one day of working from home per week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
