HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

  • Works with the engineering team to understand requirements, functions, uptime, and patching processes for the customer systems under our purview.

  • Utilizes troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and Tier I/II technical skills to remediate network, server, and workstation issues that arise and/or escalate issues to the engineering team, if necessary.

  • Works collaboratively in a small team following defined roles and responsibilities

  • Supports critical cyber defense networks and systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: AS or BS in Information Technology or Computer Science (or Technical Training, Certification(s), and years of experience in lieu of a degree)

  • Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows

  • Active Directory

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/MECM

  • Working knowledge of networks and device types

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Systems Administration

  • Hardware troubleshooting/support

  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

  • Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft certification(s), CompTIA A+ Data Transfer Officer (DTO)

  • Working knowledge of VMware, Trellix, and FireEye software and update packages

  • Location: Herndon, VA, customer site

  • US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $113,050 - $152,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
