Our diverse customer base includes protecting our vulnerable population, managing the sexual and violent offender registry, serving as the hub of communication for criminal justice information networks and the storage of criminal records, conducting arson investigations, as well as providing intelligence analysis support for local law enforcement. With a doctrine of service, honor, and justice, this statewide organization provides the best in critical, accurate, and timely service to protect our citizens. * * Job Overview: TheAuditor/ Compliance Specialistis responsible for resolving difficult and complex non-compliance issues related to the diverse law enforcement agencies throughout the State of Montana. The approaches taken for each audit and problem resolution are individual to each agency. The position is ultimately responsible for resolution of any non-compliance area. Audit tasks consist of intellectual analysis and evaluation in applying the principles and practices of auditing to complex law enforcement situations while simultaneously complying with state and federal law, and the rules and regulations for each of the respective systems. Audit preparation requires extreme attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. * Three years of directly related work experience. * Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
