Description
PRIMARY JOB DELIVERABLES:
Conceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing products
Managing and maintaining schedules for design projects as assigned
Help stimulate creativity within the aerospace engineering group
Executing components of design projects
Product definition and requirements development
Creating and validating new designs (modeling/drafting/BOM creation)
Creating and presenting concepts/products to internal and external customers
Materials research and selection to support design requirements
Qualification test plan/report creation and management
Manufacturing liaison support
General Responsibilities:
Product design using SolidWorks
Promote creative thinking within the engineering group
Create drawing packages as required
Create test plans as needed, conduct testing and document results
Participate in the design, assembly and testing of prototypes
Provide technical reviews for internal product designs
Technical presentations to internal and external customers
Support program design reviews, drawing reviews, failure analysis, and anomaly resolution
Utilize 3D printing technology and maximizing its use for the Aerospace Group
