BGS is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Hazelwood, Missouri. The Ground Support Equipment organization has an immediate opening for a support level equipment design engineer. This position will be part of the team that develops test equipment to support development and production of Boeing avionics. The individual will work in a team environment to develop test and repair capability for a wide variety of avionic systems. The assignment involves: (1) schematic analysis, (2) system test requirements development, (3) interface hardware design, (4) test software coding, (5) integration of the hardware and software products, and (6) support of problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
The selected candidate should possess a basic knowledge of software development and simulation tools (e.g. editors, compilers, linkers, desktop simulators, configuration and requirement management tools) capabilities and usage. Familiarity with standard electronic laboratory test equipment and troubleshooting practices is desired.

Position Responsibilities:
Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements
Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics, or physics
Experience or working knowledge of software development
Experience or working knowledge of circuit design and analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical lab test equipment
Experience with C Programming
Familiarity with simulation tools
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Entry Level: $66,300 – $89,700
Summary pay range Associate Level: $79,900 - $108,100
