DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role entails delivering exceptional services to the public and ensuring the proper upkeep of Forest Facilities. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of the Fire, Recreation, Resource Management, and Maintenance Programs, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at all times.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: This is a seasonal, full-time position without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Fire season: Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Opportunities for voluntary overtime for fire/projects/SAR; overtime may be mandated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Conditions of Employment:

This position will require possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
