Job Description:

The Capabilities organization leads the global standardization, development and maintenance of highly complex business rules supporting the Global Servicing Network at American Express.

Searching for a Developer to join our organization, to evolve and add value to existing capabilities built on PEGA.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Resource will be responsible to analyze user requests to assess feasibility and effort to meet customer needs through participating in discussions around project requirements

  • Will prepare the appropriate documentation of process/system flow and describe the activities and operations involved in the Business rules according to user requirements.

  • Will convert project specifications into PEGA Business Rules, entering program codes into the PEGA applications to run and test the Business Rules.

  • will be responsible to plan, configure, test, implement, monitor and document as appropriate the business configurable aspects of PEGA applications captured in form of user stories in Rally

  • Will assist users to solve/debug problems, recreating steps taken by user to locate source of problems and reconfigure business rules.

  • Will be responsible to provide technical assistance to users and stakeholders and oversee installation of Business Rules in Live and multiple lower environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field (or has equivalent professional work experience).

  • Should have over all experience of 7-8 years with minimum relevant PEGA experience of 3-4 years

  • PEGA Certified Senior Systems Architect

  • Good grasp of various iterative methodologies: Agile, Scrum and knowledge of SDLC, Experience with MS Office Suite (Intermediate) and Process flow designer/ Visio

  • Able to learn new technologies and able to guide team to perform POCs using the new tech stack

  • Strong Expertise in design, development and management of Declarative/Decisioning configurable constructs in PEGA.

  • Proven Communication and Relation Management Skills, having ability to influence and lead the conversation

  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technologies Proficient to understand how the current system fit with the enterprise-wide vision
