The Commercial Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support to Commercial Sales customers, Batteries Plus stores, the Commercial sales team and the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Provide Support to customers on orders, invoices, returns, and credits

  • Serve as main point of contact for all stores in regards to Commercial Sales inquiries

  • Train new store owners and associates on Commercial Sales procedures and processes

  • Collaborate with a variety of departments to resolve Commercial Sales issues as necessary

    Order Management

  • Manage daily KPI and follow up with stores to correct order, invoice, delivery, and shipping issues

  • Process all central orders, returns, credits, and third-party invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Work with stores and customers to identify and eliminate order processing inefficiencies

  • Handle order problems and customer service requests within the department guidelines

  • Assist the Accounting team to resolve issues regarding invoice discrepancies and payment problems

  • Assist with maintaining and updating the issue list on a daily basis to ensure the most current information is available on open issues

    Sales Support

  • Prepare and update customer agreements, preferred vendor agreement, employee discount form, and order forms in all systems for all new and existing customers

  • Update contract pricing within EC Admin application as needed, including managing any new part additions or removals

  • Add new customer locations and update existing customer locations when needed

  • Prepare month end sales report for both customers and Commercials Sales team as needed

  • Assist the Sales team with any cross referencing or customer inquiries

  • Complete project work as assigned within the expected time frames communicated

    Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in business or related field preferred

  • 1+ year of customer service or sales support experience.

  • Previous Batteries Plus retail, Product Support Center or Order Management preferred

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills. Duties require the ability of the use of judgment in minor decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology

  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to accurately perform alpha-numeric data entry
