JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Machine Set-up / Operator Salary: Based off of experience Shift: 1st Shift - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm M-Th, 5:00 am-10:00 amas needed Summary: This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure high-quality production of precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to maintain quality and efficiency standards. Job Responsibilities: Keep work area clean and safe Set up and adjust CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment before machining Monitor machine operations making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers and gauges to ensure specifications are met Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to prevent downtime Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment Maintain accurate records of production output Qualifications / Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic and excellent attendance 2+ years prior CNC Vertical machine operator experience; Haas Machining experience preferred Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings Strong knowledge of G-code programming and machine controls Familiarity with lathes, mills, etc Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail Certification in CNC Machining or related field Physical Requirements: Level of Physical Demand Occasional Frequent Consistent Physical Activity 0-33% of the time 34-66% of the time 67-100% of the time Sitting X Standing X Walking X Lifting 1-50 lb Carrying 1-50lb Pushing 1-50 lb Twisting x Reaching X Stooping X Crouching X Manipulating (Fine Motor Skills) X Extreme Temps X Exposure to Cleaning Supplies x We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all employees.
