Overview
Job Title: Systems Engineer II – CIM
Location: Harrisonburg, VA.
Responsibilities
Job Description: Provide designs for automation systems including a list of quantities and types of materials used. Provide cost estimates for small projects or portions of larger projects. Understand product types and applications and grades of materials, ensuring materials meet specifications and budget. Design and integrate SCADA systems for medium or large sized projects. Integration of historian including OSI PI or Wonderware historian based data collection/archive. System design activities including researching alternative solutions and providing decision analysis reports for SCADA systems. Provide user guideline documentations and manuals for user end programs and applications for SCADA systems. Design and develop factory acceptance tests for SCADA systems. Investigate root cause of system issues and define corrective action. Experience with Windows operating systems, database technologies, web application servers, and/or automated testing tools. Diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues for SCADA systems. Provide network administrative services.
Qualifications
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Technology or a related field -plus- 1 year of experience as a Systems Engineer II – CIM or any related occupation -OR- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Technology or a related field -plus- 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer II – CIM or any related occupation.
