The Department of Revenue has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Repairman 1. This position performs semi-skilled maintenance and repair work in the building and mechanical trades. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will perform work at all of Revenue's office locations throughout the commonwealth. The Maintenance Repairman 1 provides maintenance repair support primarily in the area of installing modular furniture and support functions. Work involves minor repair jobs of a routine nature or more advanced work assisting a maintenance repairman 2 or building maintenance foreman in regular trades maintenance jobs. You will be expected to complete work requests as assigned and ensure all work is approved.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment. Under Pub 1075, acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.
