DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position reports to the General Government IT Delivery Center (GGDC) Solutions Management Director and performs highly responsible administrative and professional work in managing the General Government Delivery Center's (GGDC) DevSecOps team, IT solution architecture, and subordinate software development teams supporting 11 agencies. The GGDC DevSecOps Manager (Information Technology Manager 1) fulfills the role of trusted adviser for the GGDC Solutions Management team, which involves identifying the software and hardware necessary for a long term supportable technical architecture model that includes applications, server environments, cloud, software licenses, and other technical considerations, creating the architecture framework for interactions across the delivery center. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members and other professionals on the tools, technology, and methodologies related to the design and development of cross-domain solutions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You are required to report in-office 1 day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. It is possible during the training period, or by management request, more frequent days in the office will be required. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2, Database Administrator 2, Data Administrator 2, Applications Developer Administrator, Network Administrator 2, or Information Security Specialist 3; or Three years of technical information technology experience including two years of administrative information technology work, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training including two years of administrative information technology work.
