Job Title: Paint Supervisor
Job Description
In this pivotal role as a Paint Supervisor, you will plan, prioritize, coordinate, and direct the work of the paint team. Your role includes managing workloads and leading the team to ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards. You will be responsible for reviewing technical specifications, planning and coordinating project schedules, tracking weather conditions, preparing quality documents, overseeing daily inspection of coating activities, and maintaining equipment and paint supply inventory. You will also manage proper waste disposal for the paint department and perform other duties as required.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hamilton, Ontario.
Work Environment
This role requires working in outdoor environments that can be very cold or hot at times, in confined spaces and tight tunnels. The environment is fast-paced and hectic, with minimal training provided. The role requires working through inclement weather, and may involve working in awkward positions for long periods of time. The role will require traversing gangways, working at varying heights, negotiating uneven heights between dock and vessel, and maneuvering around obstructions with materials and equipment. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm, with a minimum 45 hour work week and lots of overtime available. The role requires working 45 hours per week plus additional overtime when required (e.g., extended shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, afternoons).
