RN - OB Supervisor opportunity in beautiful Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a RN - OB Supervisor position. Supervisors are experienced registered nurses who have displayed leadership and communication skills. They are responsible for managing, supervising and assisting the nursing staff, as well as providing administrative support and patient care. Regular duties include the responsibility for assisting with clinical nurse practice, fiscal and budgetary management, directing admission, discharge, scheduling of procedures and general flow of the unit. They provide clinical leadership, direction and supervision in addition to providing direct patient care. The Supervisor of the Birthing Center will work with the Director of Acute Care & Birthing Center to create a staffing schedule, maintain evidenced based policies specific to the unit, development of educational opportunities and coordinate Obstetrical Emergency training throughout the hospital. The coordinator may sit on the Perinatal Committee as well as work with the Quality Department on Process Improvement Projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required, BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Current State of Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse
Current certification in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring. STABLE preferred.
CLC required, IBCLC preferred
Experience
Three or more years’ experience in Labor and Delivery or NICU setting preferred
Good oral and written communications skills
Supervisory experience preferred
Experience with EMR and Fetal Monitoring
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week, Days
