The Supplier Risk Management and Performance Consultant will drive the onboarding and execution for our centralized Supplier Performance Management program for UnitedHealth Group. This role involves building relationships with suppliers, business leaders and cross-functional teams to collect, analyze and summarize supplier performance data across our most critical supply base. This role will not only be accountable for driving Supplier Performance reporting, but also drive compliance to UnitedHealth Group policies, contracts, and best practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead supplier relationship and performance management activities for your core group of suppliers
Execute the supplier performance management framework; including partnering with suppliers to provide monthly reporting of contractual SLAs, calculate credits, entering SLA data into the
Service Now based tool (Compass) and summarize findings to key business partners
Serve as the primary supplier performance tool administrator; including escalations process, credit identification and collection, access rights and data management
Support the implementation of new supplier performance management tools and technology; including the development of enhancement requirements based on supplier and business partner feedback and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements
Analyze contracts submitted by business partners or other users for SLAs to add them to the Service Now based reporting tool for suppliers to report on
Develop acumen in understanding, educating and communicating risk attributes, key performance metrics and assist users on system navigation
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper business level engagement of non-compliant and/or underperforming suppliers
Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and procedures with suppliers to improve performance, with concentration on managing top tier suppliers
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Category Managers, line of business stakeholders and suppliers
Build trust with internal customers as the supplier performance expert; anticipate internal business partner needs and help drive management and contract activities in a timely manner
Develop partnership and work in coordination with Enterprise Supplier Managers to support progression of the team goals and initiatives

Required Qualifications:
4+ year of experience in operations, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
Experience working in a crossfunctional team environment
Experience influencing others to adopt practices and process
Advanced skill level in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
Proven ability to work independently; energetic and self-motivated
Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills

Internal candidates
ServiceNow experience
Experience with contracts and contract tools (e.g. SAP/Ariba)
ServiceNow, eGRC / Archer experience
Power BI and Tableau experience
