The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. In this role, you will work as an Operation Support Specialist in the new Global S4 HANA team being created in the strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will work in an international company with a great history, having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world. Join us on a great journey towards optimizing and growing the company with the benefits of the SAP S/4 HANA application, working in a private cloud. You will collaborate with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP cFin (Central Finance) workstream.
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
cFin stream
Ability to demonstrate processes in Central Finance for S/4 HANA
Experience in cFin implementation, customizing, and operations with an FI/CO (Financial Accounting/Controlling) background
Good understanding of Finance of cFin Integrations and Architecture
Will work with the operations team in support break/fix activities
Work in an international team, using collaboration tools, to operate as one cohesive Operations team
Conduct working sessions with business users as required to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues
Research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues
Work in Corning's ITSM-related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, Sharepoint, SAP chARM
Will be in an on-call rotation supporting the team/organization, expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization
Develop documentation and testing procedures, and perform knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team
Education & Experience:
2+ years in SAP Central Finance
3+ years SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4
Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, and Technical Solution Design
Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation
In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices
Required Skills:
cFin (Central Finance)
Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA Processes for Central Finance
1-2 Central Finance implementations, preferably for the manufacturing industry
Initial Load of data
Expertise in real-time replication, SLT, and its troubleshooting
Application Interface Framework (AIF)
Expertise in S4 Accounting Model
Understanding of necessary landscape design, including integration via Magnitude SourceConnect
FI module components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banks (including integration), and Treasury
CO module components, including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Central Payments and Central Cash Application, SAP Group Reporting (Consolidations), SAP Treasury Management, Cash Management and Bank Account Management, Profitability Analysis (COPA), Manufacturing Variances and Settlements, and Profit Centers
Master Data components, including COA, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master, BOMs, and Routings
Experience in Reporting and Analytics with S/4 HANA and Central Finance, including configuring document splitting for full balance sheet reporting by different lines of businesses within a company code
Experienced SAP S4 HANA cFin Consultant to work on identifying and resolving complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements
Desired Skills:
Experience in other SAP modules
Development experience (ABAP is a strong plus)
Fiori, Adobe Forms
Proficiency in debugging complex programs
ServiceNow experience
Soft Skills:
Written and oral communication in English and customer service skills
Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation
Good teamwork, ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Needs to be a self-starter with strong analytical thinking skills, able to work independently
