Your Role
Sea Logistics Sales is responsible for generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME customers. They have a thorough, up to date and in-depth understanding of the trade-lane(s) in terms of the geography of the trade, and the service offerings, such as sailings, transit times, reliability, specific country documentation regulations, local standards, operational requirements, as well as the type of industry/goods/commodity traded on the particular routes. They spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business, and working hand in hand with the Customer Care Personnel (customer care tasks) on the same customers. The Sea Logistics sales takes pricing decision in alignment with the Customer Care Manager, and following the Trade Management/Pricing recommendations. They account owner of sales accounts (personally own an account portfolio).
Your Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME
Take pricing decision in alignment with the Customers Care Managers
Prepare quotations using our online tools and submit our proposal to the customers
Demonstrate superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge
Deliver presentations about our main Sea Logistics products
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products
Report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team
Align with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and to provide robust and complete content in Customer Promise/CCL handover form
Use CoreLOG to maintain and update customer information
Perform the related CRM tasks/activities
To regularly review the customers’ portfolio with the CCL managers and Customer Care Team
To close customer deals
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
+3 years of experience in maritime product sales.
Knowledge of freight forwarding processes.
Intermediate English.
