Job Description: Accounting Services Analyst
The Accounting Services Analyst plays a critical role in the financial health of the organization by providing comprehensive accounting services and support. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The Analyst will work closely with various departments to optimize accounting processes and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Report Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed analysis and insights.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments.
Qualifications:
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (JDE, SAP Ariba), advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
