Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer/Drafter in our Denver, CO office. In this role, you will be working with engineers to turn design concepts into completed design for lighting, power and signal systems. Electrical design will be for buildings in diverse markets including advanced manufacturing, higher-ed, healthcare, K-12, commercial and industrial.

Job Activities:

  • Prepare detailed drawings of MEP designs and plans according to specs, sketches, and rough drafts using REVIT and Autocad.

  • Support document issue, reproduction, and distribution including specifications, sketches, and revisions.

  • Create schedules, charts, forms, and records as required for specific project needs.

  • Coordinate with design team to eliminate construction errors due to design flaws or issues.

Specific Requirements include:

  • Associates or Technical Degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting.

  • Formal training or working knowledge of the Revit platform.

  • 0 -3 years of relative experience.

  • Ability to learn and be a team player.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.

  • Interpersonal skills and professional behavior appropriate for interacting with other design professionals.

Salary Range: $22.50/hr – $35.00/hr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
