Eaton Corporation Product Recovery Specialist in Greenwood, South Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Product Recovery Specialist.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $56250.0 - $82500.0 a year.

Primary Function Description

The Product Recovery Center Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work area, while adhering to the policies and procedures of Eaton; ensuring the expedient and accurate receiving, sorting, processing and shipping of material and customer orders. Shipments must be packaged and loaded with the highest of quality to withstand logistical transitioning from terminal to customer. The Product Recovery Center Specialist is responsible for unloading, sorting, storing and shipping material in a timely manner to meet forecasted sales. This position will require the use of a forklift.

What you’ll do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DIMENSIONS

  • Maintain a Zero Safety Incident Culture while adhering to the Life Saving Rules of Eaton

  • Follow written and oral instructions, adhering to all company policies and procedures.

  • Manage the preparation, boxing/crating/uncrating/packaging, loading/unloading, and processing of paperwork for product shipping in to and out of the facility to satisfy customer Orders

  • Manage the preparation of all scrap through weighing, documenting and maintaining records of all material outbound to scrap supplier

  • Verify styles and quantities of jobs being shipped, checking styles and quantities so they align with the appropriate customer orders.

  • Arranged product for consignment, auctions or sale to the customer in a timely manner

  • Maintain sufficient levels of shipping and packaging material/supplies (Pallets, boxes, tape, etc.) to ensure continuous shipment of product to meet delivery requirements

  • Interact with logistics company to arrange pick up’s of shipments and scrap

  • Work closely with finance to ensure records and sales captured appropriately

  • Keep work areas within requirements of 5S and maintain daily checklist for housekeeping.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep records of documentation

  • Verify styles and quantities of materials picked for customer orders

  • Flex to shipping or receiving when work levels are low

  • Utilze TalentHub as the goal alignment and development tool for personal and job specific requirements

  • Utilize company vehicle to deliver or pick up material as directed by a manager

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent GED from accredited institution

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Greenwood SC; no relocation benefit provided

  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs, unassisted and throughout the day as needed

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing is required

PREFERRED QUAIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field

  • Strong understanding of Vista and AS/400 inventory functions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, strong computer skills and abilities

  • Experience with ISO certification process

  • Internal quality auditor experience

  • 2 years manufacturing experience in shop environment

  • ELSS experience with emphasis on 5S and CI activities

  • Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling

  • Requirement to train and qualify for forklift driving license
